Our
cute and lovable RUBBER DUCKS
have found their way into some truly creative promotional
programs, and now, we have three new ducks in our flock:
Surfer Duck, Football Duck and Cheerleader Duck! (photos
in On the Light Side category) Here are some of the
creative applications our distributor clients have discover
for one of the hottest promotional products in the industry
today.
HOTEL
AND HOSPITALITY PROGRAMS:
Many finer hotels are using our ducks in their hospitality
programs with a great deal of success. Here is how
it works: First, a duck, imprint with the hotel logo,
is left in a guest room with a small card that reads:
"Take
me home." or " Take me to the host, hotel
bar or restaurant for a free drink."
That's
all there is to it! This is a very simple program
to put together, but the results are clear and direct.
If the guest takes the duck home, they have a nice
reminder of their trip, and a present for the young
(or young at heart) back at home. If the guest uses
the duck for free drink, then there is one more customer
in the hotel's on-site facilities-and who do you know
that stops just at one drink? The ducks also brings
a little fun to the most strenuous business travel
day, and will surely bring a smile to the face of
even the grumpiest of guests!
POOL
AND SPA PROMOTIONS:
One of the newest emerging markets for the floatable
promotables is pool and spa promotions. Our ducks
look great in a showroom bubbling and churning around
in a hot tub! This can be wonderful distraction for
the children of young families-the most frequent purchasers
of pools and spas-and allows the salesperson to capture
the undivided attention of his prospects without the
distraction of the children. Some of the more interactive
pool & spa programs have a Duck Drawing where
a pool or spa purchaser can " Dunk for a Duck"
and redeem their new friend for the prize associated
with a hidden number or color code on the bottom of
the duck. These programs have become so popular, that
we introduced Snorkel Duck and Sailor Duck for this
program!
GIVEAWAYS
FOR CONVENTIONS, COMPANY MEETINGS AND
TRADE SHOWS:
It's hard NOT to love our ducks, and they make giveaways
or commemorative that can be tied into any number
of promotional themes. Our Tropical Duck is perfect
for conventions, seminars, company meetings, and trade
shows that are held in warmer states, islands, countries,
or cruises or in the summer time anywhere! Hospitals
and infant-related businesses can use Baby Duck as
a fabulous addition to a promotional program.
